ERAS and NRMP
Only electronic applications via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) are accepted by the Department of Medicine for residency and fellowship positions. U.S. medical students should contact their dean's office for access to the ERAS system. Foreign medical graduates must apply for residency positions through ERAS by contacting the ECFMG.
All intern positions and most first-year fellowship positions for the Internal Medicine residency and fellowship programs are selected through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
The UMMC Internal Medicine NRMP numbers for match participation are:
- Categorical Program - 1957140C0
- Primary Care Program - 1957140M0
- Preliminary Program - 1957140P0
- Medicine/Pediatrics Program - 1957700C0
